Josh Griffiths

Josh Griffiths is a Solicitor based in our Masterton office, working across relationship property, property, commercial matters, trusts, and life planning.

He supports clients through relationship property and divorce matters, including separation and property division. These situations can be personal and stressful, and Josh focuses on providing clear, practical guidance so clients understand their options and next steps.

Alongside this, he assists with residential property, commercial matters, and family trusts. This includes helping clients buy and sell property, structure assets, and plan for the future.

Josh was admitted to the bar in September 2025 and holds an LLB and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from the University of Otago.

Before joining Gibson Sheat, he gained experience at a small firm in Kaikohe, working across family and criminal law. Alongside his studies, he spent over a decade at Propharma, working as Inventory Controller and Dispatch Team Leader.

Originally from London, Josh moved to New Zealand with his family in 2006 and grew up in Northland. He is now based in the Wairarapa and enjoys being part of the local community.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys trail running, cooking, and building model tanks.
