Sachin helps people navigate immigration matters and understand their options.
Sachin is a Law Clerk at Gibson Sheat, supporting the firm’s immigration practice. He works closely with the team on a range of immigration matters, assisting with applications, documentation, and client support.
He supports individuals and families already in New Zealand, including those dealing with complex, delayed, or uncertain visa situations. He also assists employers looking to hire and support migrant workers, helping ensure applications and processes are handled clearly and efficiently.

Before joining Gibson Sheat, Sachin worked in a legal immigration role, gaining hands-on experience with visa applications and client matters. He has also held roles in hospitality and travel, which have shaped his practical approach and ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Originally from Sonipat, India, Sachin has been based in Wellington since 2016 and has strong ties to the local Indian community.
He speaks fluent Hindi and can speak and understand Punjabi, helping him connect with a broad range of clients.
Outside of work, Sachin enjoys playing badminton, exploring new places, and cooking.
