Vikram helps people succeed in New Zealand in Hindi, Punjabi, or plain English.

Vikram Singh helps individuals, families and business owners navigate immigration, employment and commercial law matters with clear, practical advice. He is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi and regularly assists clients in their preferred language. Many of his clients speak English as a second language, and Vikram is known for taking the time to explain legal processes in a way that feels accessible and easy to understand.

He provides expert support on a wide range of immigration matters, including entrepreneur and investor visas, skilled migrant pathways, work-to-residence options and family-based applications. His employment law work includes advising on employment agreements, workplace compliance and resolving disputes for both employers and employees.

Vikram also advises on business structuring, shareholder agreements, buying or selling a business and commercial leasing. He has a strong understanding of the business landscape, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and brings practical, commercially minded advice to every situation.

Before becoming a lawyer, Vikram owned and operated a busy café, giving him first-hand insight into the pressures and realities of running a business. Clients value his down-to-earth approach and regularly refer friends, family and colleagues to him for advice and support.

Vikram is a member of the Employment Law Institute of New Zealand (ELINZ).

Outside of work, he enjoys playing badminton and exploring Wellington’s food scene with friends and family.
